3012, anniversary of The Calamity, for some this marks the survival of the planet and all the creatures that inhabbit it, but for others it brings back memories of a long struggle for peace. In one massive celebration, the world comes together to honor the heros of the past who saved them from utter destruction. They also celebrate the many advances they've created for themselves such as outer planetary inhabbitation, celestial evolution, medical cures, tecnological and ecological improvements, and much more. More than 10 years has passed since the freedom fightering group Avalanche went their seperate ways. They only live through the memories and tales of those willing enough to tell their story from generation to generation. A memorial, placed in the center of town in the Upper World, is displayed so that they may never be forgotten and maybe one day return. Some discrepancy over which sector deserves the display the most has been fought between both the Upper and Lower Worlds.
Citizens of the Lower World, who still live in the slums, believe that it was Avalanche's ambitions to end poverty and fight for equal treatment in the first place. While the Upper World, mainly inhabbited by the rich and powerful, strongly assume that it is their divine right to possess such an artifact since it honors heros obviously sent to them by higher beings. This has sparked a civil war between the two sectors that has been waiting to boil over for years. It was the newly built Shinra Corperation that had seperated the two as a means of reestablishing their foot hold and dominace over the people. The Upper World is a highly advanced and wonderous sector of New Midgar. It rises some hundreds of feet in the air basicly sybolizing their supremacy. Here citizens enjoy the benefits of self-piloting automobiles, virtual networking tecnology, an abundance of food and water, and the protection of a newly designed dome which seperates them from everyone else with the reenfocement of S.O.L.D.I.E.R.
The Lower World is exactly the opposite. Scarce food and water, average tecnology, old school vehicles, and just about everything you'd expect 10 years ago. But because they were inspired by the heros of the past they have banned together forming small, but many, factions just like Avalanche. They often raid incoming Shinra Supply lines, which is the reason some sections of the Lower World are a bit more advanced than others. But as a result they are currently losing the civil war waged by Maximus Shinra The III. As head of Shinra he commands the newly designed and evolved S.O.L.D.I.E.R mercenary malitia while his father Rufus lays on his death bed. He wishes to surpass his fathers, keep the rich rich, and the poor poor by any means nessasary.
It was through his genius that led to outer planetary inhabitation of a planet deamed Shinra X, where only the powerful, wealthy, and corrupt are allowed to enter. As the planet fights to substain balance from even more abuse than ever before, a devastating nightmare slowly drifts forward to disrupt the order of this new world.

Limit Break- A specialized offensive/defensive move that is different from the rest of your average attacks. They may consist of a attack/dodge/block/heal/counter/movement of your very own creation. These specific moves are achieved by accomplishing in battle objectives that earn you points thus causing your Limit Meter to rise.
Limit Meter- This meter stores points achieved through battle. Once the meter reads LIMIT READY that means you are free to use a limit move from your list. The Limit Meter will be placed near the bottom of everyones stats as a reminder. If the meter reads LIMIT STOP this means your limit move has been stopped before it even began by a enemy target. If the meter reads GOLD LIMIT it signals your ability to use two limits in a row for maximum damage.
Meter Points- These points will be rewarded as you fight enemies. In order to obtain these points you may have to hit a certain weak spot on a enemies body, destroy/hit a object somewhere in the enviornment around you, or even interact with other players. The specific objectives will be layed out by your GM. The meter begins at 0 and builds to 10 for starters. It increase by ten as your strength increases. Once a limit is used the meter drops back down to 0.
